The flavor is so unique and floral, it's a refreshing change from other standard medium roasts. I like to try and switch up to different beans and roasts, but this is one I always like to come back to.
Columbian Whole Bean City Roast is my favorite. I often have a sample cup of your other coffees while in your store and have bought Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Guatemalan Antigua and Mexican Altura to bring home for my morning grind. All delicious, but I keep going back to CCR WB. Just because my wife and I actually agree on this one! We think that a prime reason for the enjoyment of your coffees is that they are all fresh roasted right there in your shop which enhances the taste and aroma.
Easy access and easy pay. Love our Libertyville Coffee
Ed is an extremely pleasing blend of soft-edged, yet intense, multi-layered coffees.
We LOVE your coffee. the Antigua is our favorite and I plan to spread the goodness to all my family this Christmas. There isn't a bitter note in this coffee only great coffee taste. I don't even need any cream or sugar to cover the bitternotes.
dark chocolate and rich, deep flavors. On the medium to dark scale, it falls more into the dark side, A very smooth darker coffee
Ran out of my mail order coffee, so I went looking for a local fresh roast and found Libertyville Coffee Company. Picked up Antigua and got it dialed into my espresso machine. Thoroughly enjoyed drinking the rest of the bag. Smooth, silky and sweet.
Found outstanding medium roast whole bean coffee right here in Libertyville
Ordered Guatemala Antigua beans for the first time. Very flavorful, but I have been trying to do a 50/50 decaf/non mix and the Guatemala Antigua is not available in decaf. I chatted with Tim and he advised that the French Roast Decaf would go well and he was definitely right. A very good blend for the 50/50 drinkers out there.
Amazing flavor and fantastic, fast delivery. I'm so pleased to have found my new coffee and tea place!
Loved this coffee. First time brewing coffee by grinding beans. Iāll be back for more and buying others.
I wanted a milder dark roast coffee that still had tons of flavor. This is definitely it! It is smooth, yet flavorful and aromatic.
Ordered Decaf & Regular beans for a "Half-Caf" mixture. Beans are great, perfectly roasted. The brew is rich tasting with no bitterness. The 50/50 mix tastes just right. Friends can't tell it's a "Half-Caf" brew. I have a Breville Grind Control brewer.
We own a Gaggia Super Automatic machine (our third one in 20 years- they are great machines), and it has a built in "by pass doser" which enables you to put pre-ground coffee into the machine directly vice having it grind the beans in the machine. We almost always use this for decaf espresso shots. The problem is that most pre-ground espresso that you buy in stores just isn't that good. It often tastes old and has a real stale after taste. Libertyville Coffee's decaf espresso is terrific! It is ground fresh and has a very smooth taste and even good crema. We love to experiment with different espressos, but I think for decaf, we'll stick to this. HIGHLY recommended.
