    Fragrant and floral with wine and fruit overtones, the Yirgacheffe is one of the most prized East African coffees. It has a smooth medium body and long, lingering finish.
    Offering a softly fragrant aroma, these coffee beans have a subtle floral scent and a satisfyingly intensified finish that would leave any coffee drinker's palate wanting more.

    Yirgacheffe is perhaps one of the most iconic coffee-producing regions in the world. Coffee is produced at extremely high altitudes in iron-rich, acidic soils that create an optimal growing condition for specialty coffee. Washed Yirgacheffes like this one typically have bright, floral cupping profiles. This lot comes to us from relatively small family-owned farms in the Gedeo region of Yirgacheffe, which is named for the group of people living there. Coffees are washed, then placed on raised beds for even drying.

    Our go to Coffee!

    I accidentally stumbled upon LCC while trying to find some local coffee roasters. I used to get coffee from big box stores for several years, but this one tastes so much better. This coffee was my first order with LCC a month ago and have been since ordering the same under my subscription. My wife and I both enjoy lattes out of this one. Great and consistent taste so far.     The flavor is so unique and floral, it's a refreshing change from other standard medium roasts. I like to try and switch up to different beans and roasts, but this is one I always like to come back to.

    Fabulous Coffee at a Fabulous Price

    I love dark roasted coffee and had not been able to find it close by. Then I stumbled onto the Libertyville Coffee Company. From the time I walked in the door and smelled the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, I knew I had come to the right place. The owner devoted a lot of time describing the nuances of his coffee roasting process and recommended several varieties which I have absolutely loved. And they also have decaf, which I bought as well. I like the flavor of the dark-roasted coffee, but don't need all that caffeine. They roast their coffee bean fresh every day, which was hugely impressive, AND they provide free delivery within the area! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this coffee and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a full bodied, dark roasted coffee that does not taste burned.

    Amazingly fresh coffee!

    For medical reasons, I can only drink decaf. It is a true find to find a coffee roaster with such a wide variety of decaf options! Brian is very knowledgeable about roasting and loves to share that knowledge. That his product is fresh, reasonably priced, and offers free delivery makes this a no brainer. Highly recommend everybody who is a coffee lover to give Libertyville Coffee company a taste. You will not be disappointed.
